The heart of Mahura.
The soul of an Indian Single Malt.
Born of a time-honoured copper pot still distillation
techniques combined with an inquisitiveness to explore
Sui Generis flavours from the wild heart of India, this
single malt begins its journey in a classic bourbon cask.
But it’s the final flourish - an exotic finish in
ex-Madhuca or Mahura casks at South Seas, one of
India’s oldest malt distilleries with over a century of
distilling legacy for Madhuca spirits - that sets it apart.
Thus, owing to the sacred Madhuca flower sourced
from the forests of India, this cask whispers untold
aromas: earthy florals, fermented fruit, and a soft touch
of smoke with rich layers of vanilla, toasted oak, and
sun- soaked spices on the palate.
The result is a whisky of contrasts - refined yet primal,
golden and grounded. Notes of sweet fruits, vanilla,
wood, and chocolate mingle on the palate, leaving a
long, complex finish which invites quiet contemplation.
